Kintsugi Coach Training Certification (KCTC)

At the Kintsugi Coaching Academy, we specialize in comprehensive training programs for those aspiring to become professional coaches. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to equip participants with the essential skills, knowledge, and competencies required for impactful coaching.

Kintsugi Coach Training Certification (KCTC) program offers a rich blend of learning methods, including instructor-led discussions, Mural board exercises, storytelling, interactive activities, peer coaching, hands-on coaching experiences, demonstrations, multimedia and e-learning, as well as web-based Zoom sessions. This diverse approach ensures a well-rounded and engaging learning experience.

Led by a team of seasoned coaches with a track record of success in the coaching industry, our program offers personalized feedback and support. Participants will benefit from a wealth of resources, including guidebooks, reading materials, reflective questions and interactive exercises, all designed to enhance the learning journey.

KCTC begins with “Building Shared Understanding,” a pivotal phase where participants come together as a cohort to establish a collaborative system that prioritizes inclusivity and ensures every voice is heard. This creates a fertile ground for a creative and inclusive learning environment, setting the stage for deep and meaningful engagement throughout the program.

Following this foundational stage, we transition into “Purposeful Balance of Self-Discovery,” where participants are guided through the essential principles and practices of coaching, with a focus on developing skills that enhance communication, goal-setting, accountability, and the ability to empower clients to uncover their purpose and core values. Followed by “The Art of Effective Coaching,” a module meticulously designed to explore the International Coaching Federation (ICF) core competencies in depth.

As we progress, the curriculum deepens further with advanced modules like “Discovering the Power Within,” “Navigating Cognitive Landscapes,” and “Fostering Structured Connections.” Each of these modules builds on the foundation laid earlier, expanding the coach’s toolkit and enriching the coaching experience to facilitate transformative growth and self-discovery for both coach and client.

In addition to core coaching skills, we offer supplemental programs that delve into the business aspects of coaching, including marketing and sales strategies. This holistic approach ensures our participants are well-prepared to launch and grow their coaching practices.

KCTC Program consists of a total 150 Training Contact Hours delivered synchronously & asynchronously. Hours are broken into:

  • Total of 125 Core Training Contact hours toward their Level-2 PCC certification, includes the 10 hours of mentoring (7 Group, 3 Individual)
  • Total of 25 add-on hours for anyone who participates in “ICF Coach Exam Toolkit” and the “Innovative Entrepreneur Blueprint” modules
